And I appreciate Blaine, how we can have mutually respectful dialog even when we may disagree (although it looks like we may agree on a lot!). I certainly respect that you worship God and not Jesus as you do not believe that he is the Son of God or the Second Person of the Trinity. I just published my thoughts on the Trinity and while I don’t think you will find these persuasive at all, perhaps it will help you understand that when I worship Jesus I believe I am worshiping the One. Same when I worship the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Interesting comment about Jesus abhorring being worshiped. Certainly he demonstrate the greatest humility, remarkable since at the same time he refused to reject the claims of those who called and considered him king. But, when the woman came in while he was dining and washed his feet with her tears and anointed his feet with expensive oil he did not pull his feet away, instead taught those critical of her actions an important lesson.
