Graham, I am grateful for the person who asked the question and very grateful for your clear, concise and very interesting answer. I think you will find in some upcoming posts that we are far closer in agreement on some of these basic questions and approaches than you might guess. While I come at this from perhaps a more traditional perspective, my time spent on medium and through the many books I have been reading the past year or more, have led me to some perspectives and ideas that might surprise you--in part because of how close they are reflected in your comments here.
