Great question about where we will be in a decade or two. Of course I am deeply biased by my own interests and explorations of this, but it seems almost impossible to me that the physicalist dogma can be sustained much longer. I am hoping for and believing in a stronger interest in taking down the silos of rigid categories that prevent a more complete investigation of these questions. Physicists, biologists, psychologists, philosophers, artists, and theologians all need to come together –– or an individual level each needs to broaden their areas of interest.
To me the study of dual aspect monism is a great example of how these ideas came about by opening to fruitful thoughts outside of their own domain (as in Pauli-Jung, Bohm-Krishnamurti and the Dalai Lama, etc.).
