Hang on John, we are getting to that. But, if you read the Paul Austin Murphy post that I linked in my post you will get an idea of what some contemporary thinkers are saying about that. In short, it seems they are saying it is ineffable, unknowable and "just is."

I think there are better answers and will be coming closer to that soon.
