Healthy skepticism is certainly necessary when confronting such claims as found in this podcast. I was struck, however, by Dr. Jarrow's (McGill), misleading ad hominem attack on Dr. Powell. I understand the concern about facilitated communication and how it can mislead, but what has struck me is that the set up for the tests in tape 1 (the only one I've listened to so far) seems to eliminate much of the concern about this "trick." I remain skeptical but also, given the materialistic dogma so obviously at work in the critics, I'm also getting skeptical of the skepticism.
