Hello Brian, it is good conversing with you, hope that can continue. But i do think the old trope "well then who made God" died a long time ago. If God is defined as the Ground of all Being, as the Uncaused Cause there is no infinite regress.

As for not finding any faeries, kind of a bummer! (I love fairies). However, while science has covered many a gap, it has revealed many more, and I would suggest even greater ones. I would suggest consciousness and if I did, you would likely respond that either it doesn't exist or that science is about to uncover how matter creates it. But, maybe not.
