Hello Knox, thanks for responding and the great question. I don't think it differs much if at all, which is a point I tried to make. Those who pray that what they ask of God will be provided if they have sufficient faith for it have an idea of God that must be similar to the "vibrating Universe" that Bernstein talks about. Not calling this God then is just euphemistic. As a believer who does believe that God answers prayer, I understand God and prayer a little differently. Prayer is more about aligning our wills with God's not aligning God's will with us as the manifestors would have it. Jesus in the Garden before his execution prayed mightily that "this cup would pass from him." Then concluded, "not my will, but Yours be done."
