Hello William, good article. I'm wondering if you've read the Mystery of Life's Origin, or the Stairway to Life. Also from Matter to Life with Paul Davies. The idea that non-life could become life through natural processes alone seems to be running into ever more difficult problems. As Stuart Kaufmann says, there seems to be some natural magic involved.
