I agree completely that the Absolute or Ultimate as referred to in this series in ineffable. Yet, the entire history of our species has been focused to a large degree on maximal efforts to grasp, to understand, to communicate, to be in relationship in some form with this ineffable something. I find that most interesting. I am glad you have found beauty and peace in the divine spark, as you call it. I do find it interesting that in actual belief and practice Taoism points more to Tian (Heaven) and Shangdi, a more personalized and I sense approachable idea of the ineffable Ultimate of the Dao.

Your mention of beauty is interesting as I am about to post a brief video on that subject, asking where does the appearance lead us in thinking about who we are and our purpose here in this vast world. I’d be interested in your thoughts.
