I did actually read the whole book and enjoyed and appreciated much of it. Most certainly I come at it with preconceived ideas, as you came at my review with preconceived ideas. (By the way, I appreciate that though my comments made you angry and want to not be nice about it, your comments were at least mostly respectful.)
As for my preconceived ideas, I disagree with the physicalist belief system and in 25 posts on Top Down or Bottom Up I explain why I believe this worldview fails. I just came across another post, much better than mine, on this topic: https://medium.com/interfaith-now/naturalisms-folly-d9a9e36cde56. The point of my review was to identify how that physicalist worldview plays out in observing the history of humankind. If you agree with the physicalist worldview, which I suspect you do given your frustration with me, then of course my comments about the faults I find with where this worldview leads is understandable.
I’ve learned much from this exercise and the numerous comments critical of my thoughts, and have tried to express them here: https://gerald-baron.medium.com/the-great-worldview-divide-revealed-by-hararis-sapiens-c5e8704d0783. I’d be interested in your thoughts on that.
