I don't know enough about the history of mystics and the church to know how many were condemned. Major ones, such as St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Pseudo-Dionysius weren't, (not sure of the last one) but Augustine and Aquinas remain among the most influential in the history of the church. Eckhart was, as you know, but what I have read about that indicates it was much more about church politics (like Galileo) than for his teachings. His first trial, in Cologne I believe, found him innocent. That despite a nasty sermon he preached about the building the Cologne cathedral.
No question that "defenders of the faith" have far too often caused great harm.
