I have a good friend who has talked to me quite a bit about Urantia, and I looked into it a bit. I agree about what science can and cannot do and perhaps should and should not do. But a major reason for my writing is to point out the fact that many scientists and philosophers who believe in physicalism go far beyond the realm of science to pontificate and advocate for their particular belief system. I have no objection to them doing that, of course, only that they claim that science teaches physicalism and that their view is the only rational view based on science. That is false, very false as I try to point out.
