I have read Donald Hoffman's book and commented on it in several previous posts. I find his analysis of what we can expect from our perception apparatus based on evolution and natural selection to be very valuable and intriguing. I've also read Paul Davies extensively including most recently the effort with another author to come to grips with the introduction of novel information in evolutionary history. I don't find much of what DeGrasse Tyson has to say of much interest. Reality check? You bet, that's what I'm trying to do here.
