I'm intrigued with your active and passive change concept. Also how you identify consciousness as life. This is interesting as mostly what I have been reading lately is from theologians such as Pannenberg and Torrance, also Tillich and Teilhard, who all considered the Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, to be the source and sustainer of life both physical and spiritual, and in light of physic's field theory, a field of force. Wondering if you have looked at this at all.
