It is very helpful and instructive to see karma as a law of nature similar to gravity. That takes it out of the realm of justice. Two questions for you: You mention Brahman is spirit and as the fabric of reality. This sounds very much like my understanding of the Abrahamic God. How would you distinguish the two concepts? Also, your discussion about the effects of karma are focused on the effects on the person making the choices, such as a drug addict. But what about those choices that cause great harm and suffering to others. The idea that "evil" if I may call it that is caused by ignorance is difficult for me as I believe there is a darkness that too often humans choose consciously and intentionally. Is there a need for accountability in what you have described?
