Jung had more to say on the meaning of life in his book meditating on the book of Job. As I understand he reflected that God the creator needed the consciousness of humans to bring into being in the mind of God that which only human consciousness could perceive. In this way, our human experience is a way for God to experience the fullness of creation. I’m not sure I agree with this, nor am I sure that my explanation of it is correct, but I find it a very meaningful thought that what I experience and consciously meditate on could have a profound impact on the Mind of God.
