Mr. Harvey, one of the things I appreciate about Medium and its algorithms is that it exposes me to ideas and beliefs that vary from mine or even contradict mine. In my view, that is how we learn and grow. If we only allow ideas or beliefs that confirm our opinions how can we grow? Wouldn't you agree that that is one of our problems today in our social media-internet world, taking confirmation bias to a whole new level?
