Much appreciate these thoughts. I think contemplating mind as a reality does open the door to taking seriously our inherent sense of “something more” as you suggest. I think that is exactly why so many dedicated physicalists are so reluctant to open the door to the possibility of mind. Eliminativists like Daniel Dennett and the Churchlands are forced to deny the obvious in their rather desperate attempt to hold to atheistic-physicalism.
