No doubt the worldviews of individuals are drawn from their experience, but that experience includes the general perspective of the time about the nature of reality, the universe, and ourselves. We can see that distinctly in the worldview of most people in ancient times, among aboriginal people, in the medieval period, the East and compare that to the general view of most in our time and culture.
