Rob, very helpful information. It seems we are very much of the same understanding about foundational stuff. I never read anywhere where Einstein said that about the field but that is very important to the direction I am exploring. Could you provide a reference? I hope you continue to comment and enlighten me as I go forward with trying to grasp this "field" idea, which Eddington called "spirit."
