Than ks for the response J. There are a lot of people a whole lot smarter than me who would disagree with your characterization of belief in a creator as gullible. But, a question for you. You say Nature is everything, and that Nature creates. Does Nature intend to create? Does Nature will the world into being. If there is no intention and all is a random accident, we are here for no explainable reason, then you are holding the physicalist position. That means you must somehow explain why there is such a strong appearance of a beginning to this universe and why this particular universe was so extremely fine tuned for life. The only way for this to be an accident is if there were an infinite number of universes. Since there is zero scientific proof for that, I could say that one must be gullible to believe in such an absurd and unscientific notion. But, I won't say that because there are a lot of people who believe that and take it on faith. The point is, even if you adhere to the belief in some vague idea of Nature as the cause of all things, faith is required.
