Thanks Alex, it seems science works in large part because there are scientists with varying presuppositions or biases looking at the same data, evidence, or conclusions. That clearly leads to vigorous debate and in that process often a consensus of sorts emerges, at least for a time. I have biases that lead me in the opposite direction of PAM. If anything, my intent was to point out some obvious biases at work there as well, but not really acknowledged by him.
