Thanks Andrew, I agree that placing too much emphasis on an agent of evil excuses us humans from accountability. The earliest explanation of this, in the Garden, suggests that the humans were tempted by that agent, but clearly had a free choice to make and chose wrongly with dire consequences. We continue to do the same today.
