Thanks Bob, but I am trying to understand your comment. You quote my statement that defines physicalism and says that you were lost at that point. I was not supporting physicalism but I strongly oppose that belief system as I don’t think it is supported by the whole range of science. The question to me is one of transcendence or “something more” vs. nothing more than matter and forces. I’m in the something more camp. I’d be interested in your thoughts on my posts on Top Down or Bottom Up publication.
