Thanks Ceejae, you are right, I should have clarified that our worldviews are built on science in the past couple of hundred years. Yet, that is not quite right either because there was “science” before science. It was called natural theology for a long time, and well before that it was called philosophy. Aristotle, Plato and even those much earlier certainly engaged in what we now call science and as such were major creators of the worldviews held before our own.
