Thanks Darryll, I agree with everything you said. The world is certainly not black and white and openness and curiosity is essential to learn. You see prejudice in my comments. No disagreement there. But don't we all approach questions and observations such as presented by Harari with prejudice? Don't you as well? I approached it with a prejudice against the physicalist belief system that appears to me to lead Harari to his conclusions. I suspect your response to my criticism is based on your prejudice that the physicalist belief system, and therefore Harari, are right. If so, we can both learn by respectful and curious engagement with the reasons for disagreement. I laid out my concerns in the post. What specific issue would you take with what I wrote?
