Thanks for the comment Curt. Your main points appear to be that mind is an illusion and that computers have minds or are conscious. A question then: are the "brains" of computers creating the illusion of mind or consciousness as well? If mind or consciousness is just an illusion, does it make any sense to say that computers are conscious?

If you bother responding, I would request that you do so with a bit more respect. It's an important and valuable topic with many people smarter than me debating various ideas on it, but to be as dismissive as you are and calling ideas supported by many brilliant people as bulls--, and dismissing other ideas as absurd, delusions and fantasies is hardly helpful. Also, this is intentionally not a place for political comment. There are plenty of other posts that will welcome your thoughts on politics.
