Thanks for the response. I don't agree that the model is the most reliable, for reasons that I have explained in most of my posts on Medium, especially the series called the Case Against Physicalism. You are right about supernatural claims. But where do you put the claims of a multiverse? The multiple dimensions of string theory? Most believe these are not empirical. I couldn't agree more about the supernatural becoming natural. After all, the sun rising and lightning striking were believed to be supernatural at one point, that is the action of gods. Science is in many ways the process of moving what we know from supernatural to natural.
