Thanks Graham, I struggle with the "He" but rather than continually de-genderize it with the awkward He/She/It I default to tradition. Is it better you think to default to She? I don't think of God as male anymore than I think of the wind as male or female, but I have no problem thinking that He/She/It is capable of creating gender. It seems to be part of the grand design, filled with beauty and corruption.
