Thanks Graham, I thought I had addressed to a very limited degree the issue of a personal God by saying that a created universe implies will and intention. There are things that can have and demonstrate will or intention or design and we call those persons. One might say an animal, even a bacteria demonstrates will by moving toward food and certainly demonstrates the intention to secure the food. But when will or intention is linked to intelligence in a way that can result in something like code or life, the only examples we have of that are humans, which are persons. So it seems reasonable to believe that if a creator was able to do create the world including life, that the will and intention demonstrated would include a designation of personhood. Your thoughts?
