Thanks James, I have read a bit about the holographic principle but have to admit that the whole idea escapes my efforts to grasp it. It's interesting that you mention that consciousness is more fundamental than physical stuff, but the title of your article says people, like computers, can't be conscious. Not sure I get that but I'll try to take a closer look.
