Thanks lelamarkham, while I steer away from using the term heresy, laden as it is with cultural baggage and too much that is sad in Christian history, but I agree on the concern about desconstructionism. I've put it in the terms of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. No question the bathwater of Christianity is dirty (always has been but in different ways.) There is great risk of losing what is essential if the faith is going to be transformative and real. I'm trying to make that distinction so appreciate any thoughts you have on that.
