Thanks Midnight, I haven't heard of Tom Campbell but his ideas sound intriguing. Synchronistically, I am working on a post based on Galen Strawson's views on panpsychism, monism, emergence, etc. There seems to be some similarities particularly when you say that consciousness is fundamental. Strawson is a very committed physicalist so it is interesting to see how he develops this.
