Thanks much David for your response. I am working on a series os posts now that express what I think about this and the broader questions about what is real. I do explain that like most I have assumed a scientific realist position, which is as Einstein expressed, the belief that the moon is there whether I am looking at it or not. But the writings of current thinkers like Bernardo Kastrup, Donald Hoffman and even Carlo Rovelli have me thinking more seriously about idealism. Overall I am coming closer to the dual aspect monism found in the Jung-Pauli conjecture referred to as unus mundus. I'll be posting more on this and would enjoy your thoughts on that.
