Thanks much for this response, Schmidtalex, if I am understanding you right the promise of the kingdom where God's will is done on earth as it is in heaven is more now than still to be. Am I right in understanding this? I do think there is more power in carrying out the will of God in the here and now than we often think and it is probably a lack of faith. But I do think that there is a difference between Being and Becoming. In other words, the restoration that began on the cross is final in the sense that nothing else need be done to accomplish the will of God to rid the universe of evil, yet the realization of that in its fullness is yet to come. Upon us this day, and still yet to be.
