Thanks Peter, I am interested in the ideas that replace the origins in a Big Bang. I am aware of cosmic inflation which requires an infinite number of new universes continually. I'm also somewhat aware of the "tired light" explanation. Do you have a favorite replacement for the theory of the Big Bang as an origin or do subscribe to some kind of steady state?
