Thanks qraal01, I understand you reject the God hypothesis although it is hardly a defeat of rational discourse. if you disagree I encourage you to read Alvin Plantinga. What is your explanation then that does succeed in rational discourse? I would suggest that there would be any number of objections to alternative ideas that would suffer from the same rational issues you use to dismiss the God hypothesis. That's the problem. We don't know. No answer solves the riddle.
