Thanks Ricardo, I like how you summarized the key differences in worldviews and I totally agree we are at the intersection. As you might expect if you have read any of my more than 140 posts on these topics, I favor the first worldview for many reasons I have explained. I certainly understand your objection to it if it comes with the idea that all we have to do is sit back and let a loving God fixed the mess(es) we have made. That is not how I understand the situation. I do agree that many Christians tend to the idea of God will fix it. But in my understanding, God created humans then gave them a very big responsibility — to care for the earth as a gardener (a good one) would care for a garden. We have failed in that.
