That's a good question and I considered that in my response. The reason is that every reference she makes turns back to her and in my view reflects the self-absorption she criticizes. Can you point to a counter example?

I do believe humans are capable of great good and great evil. I think that can be quite easily defended. I have a hard time squaring the idea of human goodness in light of exclusive evolutionism which requires acceptance of the selfish gene and survival of the fittest. I know the counter argument--human evolution was based on social behavior including altruism. Still...
