Thanks for the response Steve, as I have explained a number of times in this series of the "benefits" I have clearly separated out the credibility of beliefs from the personal benefit of beliefs. I also said earlier that even if I received substantial benefit from beliefs but determined they were not true, I could not continue to believe them. So, this series is not rehashing the numerous posts I have published on the credibility of belief in creation. If you are interested in my argument for why it is more credible to believe in a creator than the only possible alternative, an endless number of universes, you will find quite a few posts on that.
